Junior English Iroquois Projects

The juniors in American Literature are reading selections from the very beginnings of our nation.  At the end of August, they read a portion of the Iroquois Constitution.  Students were partnered up to complete projects using the Constitution as inspiration.

KLyn Lopour and Austin McAuliffe made a short story just using symbols.

Jenna Podany, Caitlin Dozier, and Kolton Krause (not pictured) created a skit that illustrated the Iroquois ceremony of installing a lord.

Dwight Brabec and Kaitlin Dlouhy wrote a speech that would open a Iroquois council meeting.

Andrew Novotny and Tayler Gall as well as Jenna Schmitz and Jon Langdon researched other interesting parts of the Constitution to share with the class.

Christopher Konicek and Keaton Indra designed a bulletin board of the symbols used in the Constitution.(not pictured)
