Clarkson's New Teachers

Clarkson Public School is welcoming two new teachers to their team. The first teacher is Mr. Bryan Becker. He is the new math teacher who replaced Mrs. Brockmeier. The second teacher is Miss Wrenholt; she is stepping into the shoes of Mrs. Faltys as the music teacher.

Mr. Becker has been a math teacher for 24 years. He is originally from Kansas but moved here from Axtell, Nebraska. He had been teaching at his old school for 13 years before he moved to Clarkson. He has been married for 27 years to his wife, who is also his “partner in math.” Together they have four kids - their youngest is a junior in high school. One fun fact about Mr. Becker is that his favorite superhero is Ironman.

Miss Wrenholt graduated from The University of Nebraska at Lincoln. This is her first full-time teaching job, but she was a substitute at Lincoln and did some long-term subbing in Utica. Miss Wrenholt has two sibling - an older brother and sister. Miss Wrenholt said the hardest part of her job is “balancing so many classes, because I want to plan and be ready for everyone, and sometimes it is hard to go from teaching high school to kindergarten in the same day, but it is really fun and a challenge to do both. I am very happy to do it.” One fun fact about Miss Wrenholt is that her favorite cookie is chocolate chip.
