State Speech 2016
On Wednesday, March 24, some of the Clarkson Speech kids traveled to state speech at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Clarkson had quite a few members attend the state speech meet: Cassie Harper, Dominik Harper, Paige Moore, Rachel Rupprecht, and Daniel Putzer.
Cassie Harper achieved 13th place in serious interpretation, Dominik Harper 10th in entertainment speaking, Paige Moore 12th in persuasive speaking, Rachel Rupprecht achieved 13th in humorous interpretation, and Daniel Putzer 15th place in informative speaking.
Clarkson tied Elgin for 8th place receiving 46 points. Rachel Rupprecht said about her team’s rank, “There is room for improvement, and I have faith in next year’s team!”
