Patriots Dominate the Wolverines
Coming off a hard loss to the Stanton Mustangs, the Clarkson-Leigh Patriot volleyball team came in with high hopes and lots of energy for their match against Bancroft Rosalie-Lyons Decatur. After winning the first and second sets in easy fashion, the Patriots got in a pit and lost third and fourth sets. With the help of the loud fans and great bench atmosphere, the Patriots came out on top in the fifth set, winning 15-11.
Sophomore Hannah Kasik had one of her best hitting games, as did setter Keagan Held, racking up some assists. “It was one of our best games we’ve played in a long time. We looked good this summer, but this game proved how hard we’ve worked this summer to get where we are now” said senior Shelby Paprocki.
The Clarkson Leigh Patriots are now 2-1 on the season.
