Patriots Head North For The Day
The Lady Patriots volleyball team headed north to attend the Stanton tournament on September 17th. The Patriots had a goal of finishing 5th or higher. They were ranked 4th throughout the tournament, but finished just short of their goal - 6th place after a hard fight against Battle Creek.
Senior Cully Cerv said, “We played our best game against Battle Creek.” Sophomore Bethany Wiese commented, “We got back on our approaches. Girls stepped up and made plays.” The Patriots lost to Hartington CC during the first game. They played Laurel Concord Coleridge second, coming out on top in 3 sets. The Pats finished the day with Battle Creek, losing in 2 sets: 21-25, 25-27.
