Student Spotlight: Beth Wiese

This week’s student in the spotlight is Beth Wiese. She is a sophomore this year at the Clarkson High School. Her parents are Mark and Michelle Wiese. Beth has three siblings: Kelsie and Jadine are her older sisters, and she has a younger brother named Isaak.

When Beth grows up she wants to be some type of social worker because she likes the idea of helping families. She wants to attend Wayne State College.

Beth is in basketball, volleyball, track, and band. She has been in basketball, volleyball, and band since she was in the fifth grade. She joined track when she was in junior high. Her favorite sport is volleyball because she loves the relationship the team has, and it’s a very mental sport.

This summer Beth is starting to work at the Clarkson swimming pool.  She is excited because she loves helping kids. Beth also can’t wait until she gets to hang out with her friends this summer.

Beth’s favorite subject is history because it’s very interesting to her, and she likes knowing the past and what could happen in the future. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Morfeld because “she prepares us for the real world.”
