Patriots Take on Knights in Volleyball
On Tuesday, October 17, the Patriot volleyball team played Oakland Craig. This was Parents’ Night as well as their Pink Out game. Everyone in the crowd was wearing their pink.
The C-team played really hard. During the first set, the score was 25-15, and the second set was 25-23. Our C-team took the win.
The JV scores were 25-19 and 25-15. Our JV team also took the win!
The varsity played fantastically, but they made some mistakes. In the first set, the score was 25-19 with the Pats on top, but the second was 21-25, which Oakland Craig won. Clarkson-Leigh took the next two sets: 25-8 and 25-12. It was a battle, but the Patriots finally brought the win home.
Senior Sydney Folken said, “We started off pretty strong, but fell the second set. The last set we came together, stepped up during the game, and pulled off the win.”
