State FBLA Convention
On April 5, the Clarkson-Leigh FBLA Chapter went to the state convention in Omaha, Nebraska. Chapter Advisor, Mr. Matthew Murren, took ten kids down to the convention. They stayed in the RL Hotel in Omaha.
At the convention, there were 2,310 kids and 138 chapters. Clarkson’s Molly Langhorst (a freshman) received an award by placing 12th out of 406 kids in Intro to Business Communications. Also, Clarkson’s Sara McEvoy (a junior) placed second in Publication Design, qualifying for the National Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, on June 27 - July 2.
