Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #12Our 4th period Construction Class us presently working on a new porch for Lois Schmidt in Clarkson. The following students in this class which includes Bridget Rupprecht, Lyrick Vance, Grace Baumert, Isaak Wiese, Tobby Shaw, & Austin Sayers have went beyond my expectations. We started from scratch by laying out all the post holes we needed to hold up the porch. As a class, they took it upon themselves to make sure everything was dug deep enough and the posts were straight. I did take one day to explain why we needed to wait for diggers hotline and a building permit to start this project. Everything is running very smoothly and they are making great progress.
