FBLA "Go Green" Week - October 22-25

October 19, 2018

Clarkson-Leigh FBLA will be hosting its first ever "Go Green" week.  The days will goes as follows:

Monday - Bring in your gently used coats/zip up jackets/hoodies/hats/scarves/gloves etc. you would like to donate.  We will have totes at the high school and elementary school all week long.  The donations will go to the Columbus Rescue Mission.  We appreciate your generosity and are excited to donate to a good cause!

Tuesday - Poster Coloring contest at the Elementary.  Grades K-3 will have a picture to color at home and grades 4-6 will create their own "Go Green" masterpiece.  They can work on these on at home and bring them back to school to submit them in the coloring contest by the end of the week.  The winner of the contest will be announced the following week (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes).

Wednesday: Go Green announcements over the intercom and how to save the environment tips.  We will review the locations of our recycling bins (paper, plastic bottles, and cans) and encourage students to continue saving their Coca-Cola lids throughout the entire year.

Thursday: "Go Green" games and trivia over the lunch period for JR/SR high students.  JR/SR high students can join FBLA in the gym after lunch to participate in the games and potentially win prizes!

Thank you Clarkson-Leigh communities for your continued support of our FBLA program.  Coat and jacket donations will be accepted all week long! Don't forget to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
