"High Society" Prom 2014

On Saturday, March 22nd, was Prom 2014 “High Society.” It was a time of celebration for all the juniors, seniors, and their dates. It was the last prom for seniors - laughs were laughed, dances were danced, and tears were shed. This was the first ever combined prom with Leigh and Clarkson.
Pictures were from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Church followed at 5 pm, giving the kids plenty of time to drive main street in their incredible prom rides. The students headed back to the fairgrounds in Leigh for the Grand March. Immediately after the Grand March was the dance which lasted until 11:11.
Post prom ran until 4:30 am. It consisted of games like Pucker Up, Donut Fishing, and Twister. The students were split up into teams of 15 and the winners from each team got small prizes, while the juniors and seniors drew for bigger prizes to take home. After the games, there was a hypnotist who had a blast hypnotizing the guests and making them do hilariously embarrassing things. At one point the students were convinced that they were martians, completely amazed by human hair. The kids went around feeling and smelling people’s hair. The ladies were hoping that their hair would last the night...the martians had other plans.
All in all, the juniors planned an incredible prom for the seniors, and everyone had an amazing time and went home feeling tired but happy.
