Wrestling in Stromburg
On Saturday, January 14, the Clarkson-Leigh wrestlers faced off against 12 teams in Stromsburg. It was a rough day for the Patriot wrestlers, but they were up against extremely tough competition. This was the second tournament where Clarkson-Leigh didn’t have anyone that placed.
Tim Zimmerman, Derek Gurnsey, Alex Fischer, Dan Arriaza, and Colby Harney all won a match that day. Coach Jeff Zimmerman said, “We came away with some good learning experiences. Even though the guys didn’t place, they wrestled hard.”
