In The Patriot Spotlight: Rich Lemburg
Each week a Clarkson High School student or Clarkson Public Schools staff member will be randomly selected to be "In the Patriot Spotlight." This week's Patriot is Superintendent and Principal Rich Lemburg. His parents are Dale and Phyllis Lemburg. He has been married to Kim Lemburg for 16 years. Mr. Lemburg has two kids: Bailey and Korbin. Bailey is a freshman, and Korbin is a 5th grader at CPS.
Rich Lemburg has been working at CPS for 13 years. He taught and coached at St.Edward for 18 years before he came to Clarkson. When he was a teacher, he never wanted to do anything with administration, but when the time came, he wanted to move up the chain, so he became the principal and eventually the superintendent at CPS. He went to college in Kearney for four years and then when he went back for one more year after that.
If Rich wasn’t a superintendent, he would want to be an FBI investigator or a person who made commercials. He would want to be an FBI investigator because he loves those types of television shows. Additionally, he has always thought advertising was interesting.
Rich’s greatest accomplishment is his family and building a strong atmosphere at home and work.
Rich would never want to be famous because you couldn’t do anything. “You can’t even leave your house without being followed.”
