In the Patriot Spotlight: Jarred Novotny

Each week a Clarkson High School student or Clarkson Public Schools staff member will be randomly selected to be "In the Patriot Spotlight." This week's Patriot is Jarred Novotny. Jarred is a freshman at Clarkson. His parents are Ryan and Amanda Novotny. Jarred has two siblings: Alyssa who is 20 and Ashlynn who is a junior. Jarred has several pets at home. He has one dog named Charlie, two cats named Sheba and Lily, two goats named Farkle and Oliver, and one chicken.
Jarred’s favorite teacher is Mr. Becker because he explains everything so thoroughly so math is very understandable. His favorite school subjects are math and construction. His favorite school lunch is sub sandwiches and his worst is pulled pork. If Jarred could give any advice to the underclassman it would be, “It only gets worse.”
Jarred’s favorite sport is basketball because some of his favorite people play basketball, and he’s been playing since he was a third grader. Lebron James is his true inspiration because he works hard on his basketball every day.
Jarred could live anywhere in the world as long as it is in a nice house with heating and television. Jarred’s dream vacation would be to travel to Hawaii due to its nice weather and beautiful beaches. If Jarred was given a million dollars right now, he would donate some of it to charity, build a very nice house, and split the rest between his family because they deserve it.
