Friday, September 21 was another solid night for the Clarkson-Leigh Patriots as they gained their second win of the season over the Pender Pendragons. The Pats took a commanding lead in the first quarter as the score was 26-0. From there on, Clarkson-Leigh controlled the game and never looked back. The score at the half was 38-8, with the Pats on top.
Senior John Langhorst said, "The team really responded well to being picked for their homecoming, and everyone stepped up so that we could walk away with a win." The Pats stayed consistent the whole game, never letting up. The final score was 68-14 with the Patriots taking their victory back home. The player of the game was once again sophomore Tommy McEvoy with seven touchdowns and 328 yards.
