Student Spotlight: Dillan Knapp

This week’s student in the spotlight is Dillan Knapp. Dillan is a freshman at Clarkson High School. He is currently living with his dad, Bryon Knapp. Dillan also has two younger sisters - Alexis and Hailey. Alexis is in the 7th grade and Hailey is in the 4th grade.

After Dillan graduates high school, he wants to join the Marines. When he’s done in the military, he wants to go to Colorado School of Trades, which is a gunsmithing school. He wants to become a gunsmith because he enjoys shooting, guns, and hunting. After he is done with college, he wants to open his own gun store. If Dillan had $1 million he would open is store and buy a lot of guns and bows to go hunting with. He would also buy hunting ground, so he can hunt whitetail deer and live off of the land.

Dillan was out for football and basketball and will be going out for track this spring. His favorite sport would have to be football because he gets to knock people down and pick them back up over and over again. If Dillan could go back in time, he would go back to the 7th grade when Mr. McEvoy was his football coach because he is an excellent football coach.

If Dillan could be a famous person he would be Chris Kyle, who was a United States Navy SEAL. He chose Chris because he was an amazing sniper and would like to be like him when he gets older.
