Student Spotlight: Jena Hart

This week’s student in the spotlight is Jena Hart. Jena is a senior this year at Clarkson High School. She is currently living with her parents Mike and Jenny Hart.

Jena was out for softball this year. She joined the softball team her sophomore year because she used to play when she was younger and thought is was fun. Unfortunately, during the summer of Jena’s junior year, she tore her ACL. They were practicing running around the bases and sliding into them when she twisted her leg and found out she tore her ACL.

Jena wants to become a physical therapist when she is older. She found out that therapy was really fascinating after going through it after she tore her ACL. She wants to become a physical therapist because she wants to help others recover from their injuries, like they helped her.

Sometimes Jena wishes high school students could still go on field trips.  If we could still go, she would want to go to The Y because you can ice skate and play a lot of games like laser tag.

Jena’s favorite subject would have to be English.  Mrs. Morfeld makes it really fun because she is a hoot and a half. Jena’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Beeson.  This year, Jena doesn’t have her as a teacher, but she is still her favorite because she’s a really friendly, and she is a really good teacher in general.
