Student Spotlight: Tanner Stanley

This week for Student Spotlight, senior Tanner Stanley was drawn. Tanner’s parents are Kyle Stanley and Kim Scott. Tanner lives with his mom Kim and his step-dad Russ. Tanner has an older brother Taylor, a younger brother Travis, and his 2 adopted sisters: Raelynn and McKenna.

When Tanner graduates, he is going to Northeast Community College to study utility line. He chose this particular field because his uncle and older brother both studied in this program, and they both really like it. Throughout his four years of high school, Tanner has participated in football, speech, one act, FFA, golf, and he recently went out for basketball this year. Also, in his free time he likes to golf.

Tanner’s favorite memories of high school are when he went to state golf. On the other hand, his worst memory of high school was district golf last year because it was raining the whole time. His favorite subject is English, taught by his favorite teacher, Mrs. Morfeld.  He enjoys her as a teacher because she makes class fun.

This summer, Tanner is going to be a traveling to Europe as a part of Clarkson’s Travel Club.
