In The Patriot Spotlight: Suzie Beeson

Each week a Clarkson High School student or Clarkson Public Schools staff member will be randomly selected to be "In the Patriot Spotlight."  This week's Patriot is Mrs. Suzanne Beeson. She is married to Bob Beeson, and she has two sons, Mitchel and Drew. Mitchel is an eighth grader and Drew is a seventh grader.

The one word that Mrs. Beeson chose to describe herself is “Survivor” because she has had breast cancer twice but has survived them both.

Mrs. Beeson knew she wanted to be a teacher because when she was younger she and her friends loved to play school together. Her dad was also a teacher, so she really knew the world of education. If Mrs. Beeson wasn’t a teacher and she had a lot of money, she would be traveling the world today. She would travel to see all of the national parks around the world.

When Mrs. Beeson is on her way to school, in addition to seeing her peers, she looks forward to going to a job that she loves and enjoys getting up for.

If Mrs. Beeson could be one famous person, she would be Ellen Degeneres because she is a bazillionaire who loves to help people by giving them a free car or money. Ellen also makes everybody a happier person by being happy all of the time.

When Mrs. Beeson was in high school she used to play volleyball, basketball, and track because she is a competitor, and she was very athletic.
