In The Patriot Spotlight: Brittney Urbanek

Each week a Clarkson High School student or Clarkson Public Schools staff member will be randomly selected to be "In the Patriot Spotlight."  This week's Patriot is Brittney Urbanek.

Brittney is currently a sophomore at Clarkson Public Schools. Her parents are Mike Urbanek and Patty Urbanek. She has two older brothers that also attended Clarkson Public Schools, Nathan and Nick.

Brittney is involved in volleyball, track, dance, and FFA. She thinks the best part of playing sports would be qualifying for state volleyball this year. Out of all the sports, Brittney plays her favorite by far is volleyball.

Brittney’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Morfeld, who also teaches her favorite class during the day, English. The best thing about being a Patriot for her is that everyone knows everyone. During school, she loves hanging out and having fun with her friends, even though she misses having more free time in the summer. In Brittney’s opinion the best school lunch is taco salad.

After high school, Brittney plans to go to Northeast Community College. She is still undecided what she wants to do, but she knows that she wants to do something with agriculture, since she loves to spend her free time helping her older brothers farm. After college Brittney hopes to live and work somewhere around here.

Brittney’s favorite color is blue, her favorite TV show is Dance Moms, and her favorite board game is Monopoly. Her biggest fear is snakes. If Brittney could go anywhere on a vacation, she would go to Hawaii because it is very pretty and has great weather to be in.
