Veteran's Day Program 2017
Kindergarten through 2nd grade from Clarkson Elementary and St. John Neumann proudly sang “Yankee Doodle Dandy.”
Seventh grader Ella Kappel earned first place in the Patriot Pen essay contest. Melissa Bunner (eighth grade) placed second and Jace Indra (seventh grade) 3rd.
Sophomore Quintessence Indra placed first in the Voice of Democracy speech contest. Abigail Langdon (junior) got second, and Lyrick Vance (freshman) got third.
Keynote speaker Bert Perina told everyone about his time in WWII and Korea. He said he was blessed to be walking without a cane or in a wheelchair.
Clarkson’s first Patriot of Valor, Paige Moore, passed the recognition on to senior Korbin Kudera during the Veterans Day program.
