On March 1st, Stanton held the East Cornhusker Conference Art Show. This art show is for junior high and high school students who take art classes.
Mrs. Ann Cerv gathered projects and took them to Stanton to display. The art show has junior high and senior high divisions. From there, the art is divided into 3D creations and 2D displays.
Ribbons were awarded to Brendan Cropp, Emily Schnelle, Ashlee Novotny, Trine Svendsen, and Rachel Moulin. Brendan’s art was a tar paper drawing which won 3rd place. Emily submitted two art projects - a painted still life and a clay sculpture. Both won 1st place. Ashlee submitted a self portrait. Trine submitted a self portrait that won 2nd, and Rachel's self portrait won 3rd place.
