The Patriot Youth Council will once again be organizing youth sports for the school year 2016-17 for students in grades 3rd – 6th.  Registration forms will be sent home with students on the first day of school, August 16th.  These forms, along with registration and jersey fees, will be due back to the school on Friday, August 19th.  Annual registration fees will remain $15, and for any player needing a new jersey the cost is also $15 per sport.  Any parent wishing to volunteer their time to coach can also indicate this on the registration form.  An organizational meeting will be held in the near future for volleyball, as practices will be starting soon for this sport!

The Patriot Youth Council continues to strive to build a positive and well-organized youth program that can promote youth athletic activities for the Clarkson and Leigh communities.  This is accomplished mainly by time spent on the court during practices building fundamentals of the game, along with introducing the student athletes to the competitive aspect of the sport through games and tournaments.

The Patriot Youth Fund has been utilized to pay volleyball and basketball tournament entry fees for grades 3rd through 8th grade, purchasing equipment for the youth programs, funding the Rising Star program, paying for admission fees at select games, and taking students on trips to college games.  The Patriot Youth Council also offers scholarships for graduating Seniors, and is proud to continue that offering for the 3rd year in 2016-17.

Questions regarding the program can be directed to:  Rich Lemburg (750-5421) or Kamin Held (276-1765).
