News release from College of Saint Mary:

"CLARKSON, Neb. – College of Saint Mary Softball Coach Carolyn Todd Bray is excited to announce the signing of Faith Indra. Indra signed her letter of intent Friday to continue her education and softball career with the Flames in the fall.

The daughter of Adam and Chayann Indra is currently a senior at Clarkson High School. The 5-3 utility player plays softball for Highway 91 and also plays basketball and runs track for Clarkson/Leigh.

“I’m super excited for Faith to join our team,” Bray said. “She’s so versatile. I can see her playing some middle infield for us, but she could also easily get some time in the outfield because the girl can fly. She’s extremely fast and dangerous at the plate and on the basepath.

“She knows the game and is a little spitfire out there. She comes from a great family and I really think she’s going to fit in well at CSM.”

Indra has racked up the honors with Highway 91 including all-state honorable mention, all-conference (twice), all-conference honorable mention and all-district. She owns several program records including runs in a season and career assists.

She considers Jenny Finch her favorite sports hero and her favorite part about high school sports has been having her dad as her coach all four years of softball. Outside of sports she enjoys hanging out with friends.

Indra plans to pursue a nursing degree at CSM.

“I chose CSM because they have a beautiful campus, the college has an amazing nursing program and they have given me the opportunity to play softball,” Indra said.
