53 Personal Records Set at Lyons-Decatur Junior High Meet

The 8th grade girls team was 1st! 7th grade girls team was 4th out of 12 teams. Ashlynn Novotny - 5th LJ; Natalie Reeves - 4th Discus; Tess Indra - 3rd TJ and 5th 800; Taylor Larson - 4th TJ; Kim Stodola - 6th shot; Libby Crecco - 4th 100 H and 4th in 195 H; Cassie Brabec - 6th 100 and 5th 200; Payje Rayback - 5th in 195 H; 4X100 team of Taylor, Cassie, Ashlynn, and Emma Labenz 1st; and 4X400 team of Libby, Tess, Kim and Taya Gross was 3rd. Sara McEvoy - 1st Discus; Beth Wiese - 3rd Discus and 2nd Shot; Holly Kuhr - 4th shot; Kaegan Held- 2nd 100 and 1st 100 H and breaking her record from Tuesday at 16.3; Paige Moore - 6th 100 H and 6th 195 H; Halee Steffensmeier - 6th 100 and 2nd 200; Cheyenne Brabec - 5th mile; Kiara Brabec - 5th 400; 4X100 team of Beth, Halee, Paige and Kaegan - 1st; and 4X400 team of Cheyenne, Kiara, Holly, and Shyla Shaw - 5th. Excellent job Ladies!
The boys also did a fantastic job at the meet and competed very hard! The 7th grade boys were 7th place and 8th grade boys were 10th place. Individual winners were: Isaak Wiese - 1st 400m, 3rd HJ, 3rd LJ; Dillan Knapp - 3rd 1600m, 5th 200m. Great Job!
