FFA Week Festivities

FFA Week

Megan Venneman

During the week of March 24, the Clarkson students involved in the Howells-Dodge-Clarkson FFA chapter hosted FFA week.  The week consisted of days for members to wear camo/plaid, FFA jackets, FFA t-shirts, and their favorite farm hats.  Students also drove their farm vehicles to school.

On Tuesday, grades 7 through 12 competed in Ag Olympics. Events included bottle feeding, square-bale toss, a dress-up relay race, and a Bohemian tractor pull.  These events applied to class competitions.

The points collected for the junior division had the 8th graders in third, 7th graders in second, and the freshmen winning first. The points for the senior division had the sophomores placing third, juniors in second, and seniors with first.
