Student Spotlight: Breanna Ashton

Each week, a student from Clarkson High School is randomly chosen for our Student Spotlight. This week, Amber Novotny interviewed Breanna Ashton, a junior at CHS.

Breanna has been playing softball her whole high school career.  She also played when she was in elementary and really loved it. She used to play volleyball in junior high, but when she got to high school she knew that she had to go back to playing softball instead.

When Breanna graduates, she would like to go to UNL, but whatever college she gets into would also be great. When she gets to college she wants to become a social worker. It would be an honor for her because she wants to help people get through tough times and help families work through their problems.

The one word Breanna chose to describe herself was “loyal.” She picked that word because she sticks by people through everything. She even stands by them when things get rough. If you ask some of her closest friends, they would have to agree with her.

If Breanna could go back in time she would warn President Kennedy to put the bulletproof bubble over his car. They were going to put the bubble over his car just in case, but he refused. Breanna said that if he would have put it on his car, life in America would be a lot different.
