Student Spotlight: Travis Stanley

This week’s student spotlight is Travis Stanley. Travis is a sophomore at Clarkson High School. Travis lives with his mom Kim Scott and her husband Russ.

After Travis graduates high school, he wants to go to college at Northeast Community College.  He plans on studying something in the construction field because he is interested in that. When he gets older he wants to become a baker just like his mom, who owns the Clarkson Bakery here in Clarkson.

Travis is currently in football and basketball. He has been in football since the seventh grade. He chose to go out for it because he can hit people and not get in trouble. He just joined basketball this year. He chose to go out for it because he wanted to try something new.

Travis’s favorite class is construction because he gets to make things that he wants to make. His favorite teacher is construction teacher, Mr. Bailey because he is pretty chill and lets you make what you want to make. When Travis has free time he likes to work. He likes to work so he can make money and buy the things he needs and wants.
