Student Spotlight: Jacquelyn Lee

Jacquelyn Lee is 17 years old, and her parents are Bob and Sharon Lee. They moved from Colorado about 19 years ago to live in Clarkson. She is a junior at Clarkson Public School. The best thing about the junior class is that there are only nine students so it feels like a family. If they ever have a little argument, they will get over it almost right away. She is looking forward to making more memories with her friends, but is not looking forward to the ACT test that she has to take this year.  Jaquelyn is also on the dance team. She feels that they are another little family because there is no competition between them; they are all friends, and she likes to do what she loves.

Her favorite memory in high school so far is attending Gospel Honor Choir. Jacquelyn thought that it was really cool to meet so many people that have the same passions as she does. Jacquelyn wants to attend Midland University in Fremont and major in Criminal Justice. Her favorite high school class is Construction with Mr. Bailey, because she likes to help other students with their projects. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Beeson, because she is just a ton of fun and just loves to make people laugh.

The thing that Jacquelyn misses most about her summer is being able to go out with her friends and hang out with them almost all day. When she doesn’t have homework, she enjoys taking a nice long nap in her bed or watching her favorite TV show, Spongebob Squarepants. Her favorite school lunch is sub sandwiches because there aren’t any other meals with nacho cheese and pickles.
