Student Spotlight: Quintessence Indra

This week’s student in the spotlight is Quintessence (Tess) Indra. Tess is a freshman at Clarkson High School. She is currently living with her parents Dale and Laurie Indra. Tess has three brothers: Keaton, Paxten and Dexter. Keaton is in his second year of college, Paxten is a senior at CPS, and Dexter is in the 4th grade.

While she is not for sure what she wants to be when she grows up, Quintessence is thinking about something in the medical field because it is interesting to her. She’s not for sure what college she wants to go to yet because she hasn’t really thought about it.

Tess’s favorite season is winter because she can hunt deer. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Beeson because there is never a dull moment in her class.  Mrs. Beeson makes science really fun and very interesting.

There are a lot of good things and bad things about being a freshman. Her favorite thing about being a freshmen is that you're not considered a kid anymore, so you're treated differently. The worst thing about being a freshman is that you get cut in front of in the lunch line and have to stand there for a really long time.

Tess is out for FFA and band. She participates in FFA because she lives on a farm, and she thought it would be the perfect opportunity for additional learning. She wanted to play the alto saxophone in band because she thought it sounded really pretty.
