Patriots Travel to Madison for Triangular

The Patriot volleyball team played in a triangular in Madison against Madison and Stanton on August 30. The first game of the night was the Clarkson-Leigh Patriots against the Madison Dragons. The Patriots had an easy win the first game, beating the Dragons in two sets: 25-14 and 25-17.
The second game was the Clarkson-Leigh Patriots against the Stanton Mustangs. The game was very intense and the crowd was loud. The Patriots ended up losing in two sets, but they put up a fight. The score of the first set was 21-25, and the second set was 22-25. Senior Paige Moore said, “If we would have stayed calm, we would have been fine, but we kept getting worked up. We also kept getting in our own heads, and we didn’t play as good as we should have.”
